CULTURAL EXCURSIONS

BECO DE BATMAN. A SÃO PAULO ART TOUR

Among the narrow streets of the Vila Madalena neighborhood is the open-air graffiti gallery known as Batman Alley. Started in the 1980’s the narrow streets of Goncalo Afonso and Medeiros de Albuquerque lent their walls to drawings of batman comics. From then on the location has attracted art students, who began to make drawings of cubist and psychedelic influence on the walls of the alley, forming an outdoor gallery constantly rotating with new murals.
