SÃO PAULO

With a population of 20 million people, São Paulo is a city of impressive numbers. With both the largest GDP and population in Brazil.  São Paulo is also a cultural gem and an example of cosmopolitism in Brazil. Indeed, the city is a melting pot, having a significant number of inhabitants hailing from across the world.  All these factors make "Sampa" a city of endless opportunities and possibilities and thus influencing the educational system in the metropolis.

Besides being home to one of the oldest universities in Brazil (Faculdade de Direito do Largo do São Francisco) and one of the best universities in the world (Universidade de São Paulo), the city is also a stage to many innovative initiatives in the teaching and learning field.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

INTERESTED IN PRESENTING AT THE ROUNDTABLE? SUBMIT BELOW

The Latin American Roundtable on Future Thinking in Short-Term Study Abroad invites attendees to share their voice, contributing to a wheel of sharing that maps current realities of international education, details best practices, shares research on new models and presents success stories.

While all proposals are welcome, a preference will be given to those sessions that include voices and perspectives from Latin America and those that present cases on short-term international education programming that stimulate discussion, detail forward-thinking concepts and provide tangible takeaways.  We encourage submissions encompassing multiple institutions and programs; along with those that include expert voices from outside the traditional ‘international education field' to deepen our understanding and add value to the dialogue.

*Limited spots are available, sessions should be 30 - 45 minutes w/ Q&A

Representing a group of passionate, globally-minded educators, learners and dreamers, we are a doorway for thousands of learners to learn in and out of Latin America.

From our inception within Brazilian academia, we have worked alongside educators and learners to engage and facilitate international education programs and initiatives.

We come from around the world unified by our vision to expand opportunities for reciprocal international learning.
