FAUBAI 2017 Pre-Conference Program
The pre-conference program will immerse you in the Brazilian higher education system. During 6 days prior to the FAUBAI Conference, participants will be able to visit a range of Brazilian universities—public, private, religious, vocational and tech & research centers —and interact with leading administrators, faculty, International offices and academic staff. Participants will gain a first-hand understanding of the innovations and challenges unique to Brazilian higher education, adding extra information, networking and interactions within FAUBAI 2017 Conference context.
The program is complemented with cultural activities in Brazil’s two iconic cities: São Paulo, the country’s economic capital and educational hub, and Florianópolis, one of Brazil’s postcard cities and also the capital of state that has the highest Human Development Index.

FAUBAI – the Brazilian Association for International Education – will bring together hundreds of leaders and educators from across the globe to Porto Alegre for its the FAUBAI 2017 Conference (April 8-16, 2017 in Porto Alegre, Brazil), the most important international education conference in South America.
This year’s conference will focus on New Trends on Internationalization of HE: Social Engagement and Innovation. The conference combines research-based sessions on best practices in the field, collaborative workshops and networking events to promote the understanding and advancement of exchange programs, policies and international cooperation in Brazil.
